From an outsider's POV, he could be a consistent 50-60 point producer on the second line but Q seems to be incredibly set in his ways in labeling players and his almost OCD approach to line matching. Much like the Staal in Pittsburgh argument his other attributes are masked by his role but unlike the Pens it's not because of the centers playing ahead of him.

Seriously? Gagner is not even close to being Bolland's class defensively. If he'd chalked up a +5 in a shutdown center role that'd be one thing but he didn't play that role.
