Tough to understand how a Kings fan would dislike any of this.
Just sayin'.

These three posts in particular completely miss my point in the OP. I am not commenting on whether the Kings are getting "love," and whether I should enjoy the creaming process, but rather the quality of the production itself. I will admit it was better after game 2 than game 1, but still it seemed more about banter more than actual analysis.
Some of you guys seem to really get off on all this "love," and I can understand it to a point. I used to love hearing people cream about my team, but never experienced it outside of the Lakers. As I have gotten older I find that I couldn't care less what others say or did about my team, and that includes this Kings team and this incredible run. This has always been my team, love them or hate them, and it precludes Johnny-come-lately announcers and analysts who just happen to have to talk about them now because they are in the Stanley Cup Final.
To the bigger picture of actual coverage, I was looking at some of the New Jersey threads after game 2, and a number of Devil fans are hating on the announcers for what they consider biased coverage in favor of the Kings. I noticed some Kings fans here were also sensitive to what they considered biased coverage in favor of the Devils. "Gushing" about one team's play over the other is not "bias" but merely the announcers' attempts to generate interest among bandwagon fans that happen to be looking into the national coverage of the Stanley Cup Final (it isn't working; these games, I would imagine, are very boring to the uninitiated).
