it should be noted that in the article brooks says that the rangers & caps haven't even started discussing players involved...
now how can a trade be imminent if discussion of an actual trade hasn't even started yet??
the discussion of the financial aspect of the trade is to determine if it would be a waste of time to discuss a trade, not to actually make the trade
