Kovalev won the cup in his second season and was the third best scorer in these playoffs. He also has 1000+ NHL points and enjoyed an irregular but excellent career. It would be amazing if we drafted a player of his skill level with similar playoff clutchness.

Pouliot and Grigorenko are nothing alike. Both are tall and thats it. Grigorenko plays a thinking game while Pouliot has always played like a headless chicken. In junior he was big enough to overpower kids with little effort and had a decent enough shot and good speed to produce while being all offense. Meanwhile Grigorenko's bread in butter is his offensive vision and amazing skillset. What he has cannot be learnt.
