I don't think there's a heck of a lot to separate Bobrovsky from some of the other goalies who will be available, so it may simply be a matter of where the best deal can be found.

What hurts Bobrovsky's value is that he's got two years in the league; one was good, one was not. He's not a known commodity by any stretch. What helps is that he's a couple of years younger than some of the other options.

Even in the good year, the question is whether he was actually as good as is stated, or whether he gets a boost in perceived skill because his play was unexpected. Was he actually better than Brian Boucher; was one sheltered more than the other in terms of opposition? Are there other factors that explain why their numbers look superficially very similar?
