Price is the prototype franchise goaltender.
He has won before (WJC, Calder Cup) so he definately has a winning resume.
He is a big, strong goaltender that can make save even when they don't see the puck (see Mike Smith)
He is commited to play in Montreal (at least that's what I feel and read about him)
He can play tons of game (unlike Halak who was struggling if playing too many games)
He is still young and entering his prime (so good for another 7 years)
I won't even go on to who should replace Price if we trade him (because that would be even more absurd)
In sum, Price is here to stay for a long time.
Oh yeah I would say tough that we should pick one of the big 3 goaltenders if available with our 2nd pick (32nd/33rd overall) (Vasilevski, Dansk, Subban) having another stud goaltender in the pipeline is huge asset!
