Orpik has been our best Dmen.
No offense to Tarnstrom, but he sucks defensively.

The Pens want to develop them.
They are rebuilding.
They are not trying to win the Cup.
What they want to do is get ready for the post-CBA era.
Koltsov, Malone, Orpik, Fleury, Beech and Kraft will be ready.
If the Pens draft Ovechkin, it will be another +.

They Pens are not battling for the playoffs.
They don't care.

Thats why Straka is on the block. Because he's over 30.
