Hogwash! Laraques is to blame as he still should have grabbed on to guys to protect his teammates. He was the only tough-guy in hockey who had this bizarre personal code of ethics. Lucic's teammate Shawn Thornton isn't going to worry about the instigator rule or wait for a fax to arrive if someone roughs up one of the Bruins stars.
