A few points:

- I think there is some merit to the idea of Datsyuk wanting to play with a Russian. I also think Semin's game would turn around here. Parise's a better choice but I have a feeling he's not going to come here.

- One or more of Kindl, Mursak, Emmerton, and/or Miller will be traded or waived this summer.

- I'd rather see Filppula at 3C than Jokinen, but there's not many good top-six wingers out there (unless Holland brings Samuelsson back into the fold, which is very possible) so I think they'll settle for a skilled center like Olli. That third line has potential to be great if Cleary is healthy... good size, talented. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Jokinen-Helm is pretty awesome center depth.

- I'm not sure Suter is worth $7.2 million, but I think it's going to take $7m+ to bring him here.
