I think you're dreaming if the PA will allow salaries to role back. They will likely have to concede the % going down to 50-53. But if the NHL insists on players taking an individual role back (like the last time), then we're not going to have hockey in Oct.
The PA didn't bring Fehr in for nothing. I'm fairly certain they'll grudgingly drop the %. But this is the guy that is very tough to deal with... and there's no way they'll accept the players taking an individual hit.
