This is the problem when a team allows people to buy more than the season tickets they have. I'm not faulting legitimate fans for getting 4 even if they have 1 or 2 season tickets. But the ticket brokers buy tons of season tickets and thus they could load up on tickets.

What they should have done is what all the sports teams around here do and limit season ticket holders to their seats only. I realize it stinks for the average season ticket holder (who might split their 2 season tickets with a couple buddies and thus would want 4), but for the brokers it would stop them from turning their 10 seats into 40 tickets.

It would overwhelm the poor people who work at the box office, but the other idea is that tickets could have only been available in person from the box office at Staples Center. Looking at the EBay auctions none of them are located in the LA area, most seem to be in Virginia (I'm guessing something to do with lax scalping laws I bet). I just hope they let TV cameras (I'm looking at you KTLA) into the rally and broadcast it on TV. I have my PVR set to tape 5 hours on Thursday.

I assume NBC, FOX and CBS are showing it as well. I'm going to assume Fox Sports West will too. If someone could PVR their coverage and post it on Youtube that would be awesome. That way even if KTLA quits showing things after the parade I'll still be able to see it. I hope the Cup BluRay has the entire parade and rally on it as a bonus feature.
