Great move by the Stars I think. Willie has to put in 2 or 3 years of good work at the AHL level and I think he'll be offered a head coaching job with some other organization pretty quick if things go well.

So if I remember correctly his WHL Medicine Hat Tigers teams were known for their defensive structure and work ethic, I think we can all agree that the Texas Stars need to get back to that style of play so this should be a good fit.
