I know Edmonton seems to be extremely high on Murray. How can they set up a trade that gets them Murray and another defense man?
Somehow get a solid defense man and acquire the 2nd overall pick?
While Dreger is a credible source.
Since being hired MacT has stated.
1. you take offensive talent at the top of the draft
2. defensive help takes longer to develop.
3. you take the goal scoring talent cause it is the most sought after and will get you the best return.
to further this.
tambellini stated in the last two days.
There is no defense in this year draft that can help in the NHL this year.
Of the top 5 picks in the draft. there are only 5 tough comp dmen that would be considered. from these teams.
MTL georges, Subban
NYI Hamonic, Mcdonald
