A WIN-nipeg Start

"It was an amazing feeling being out there with this crowd", words from the young star Evander Kane whose presence helped push the return of the Winnipeg Jets to a winning start against an old foe, the Montreal Canadiens. The franchise which left more then a 15 years ago has brought tears to the dedicated fans of the old Jets.

This group however is very young, "It's only 1 win...we will have our growing pains, but we will have to bring the effort every night especially with this crowd and make it an advantage when teams come here", said the captain Andrew Ladd. One thing is for sure, the Jets are flying again.
