I wonder if the root of our road woes is Trotz's inability to forecast the matchups he desires when he doesn't get the last change. Matchups are one of those overlooked importancies of hockey, and we've traditionally been a weaker team on the road throughout our history. It's tough on any coach, but some struggle with it even more. Of course the crowd factor, comfort of your own barn, yadda yadda...all mean something as well, but that last change is HUGE.
I think this is a major part of the problem. Trotz can hide our weaknesses at home but not on the road
