That assumes the Kings will be able to find that same "groove" that they were on this year during the playoffs. It's not a given that the team will play up to their potential every time, and could be in a serious funk once the playoff starts.

Like the Bruins this year, they had an unbelievable period mid-season when they seemed unbeatable, then faded down the stretch and got knocked out of the first round. They peaked early, whilst the Kings peaked at just the right time.

That being said, I'm cautiously optimistic.
