I don't want to sound dramatic, but this book changed my life. The relaxation and positive thinking techniques that Dr. Miller talks about have made me successful on and off the ice.
A good one I'm reading right now is
by Jason Cohen. The author follows the Austin Ice Bats (a "AA" Prosfessional team at the time) for a season and chronicles the success of professional hockey in a really unlikely place. The players don't make very much and are either at the end of their careers or trying to jumpstart their pro career; either way it's not a very glamourous lifestyle and they are truly playing for the love of the game.
