I don't buy him going to the KHL, that's just leverage to get a better deal. This is a guy who came over as a teenager to play in the Q, and stuck it out through 2 years in the minors. He's got a relationship with Chevy going back to their days with the Chicago Wolves.

Bingo bango. His agent is an aggressive one and is playing hardball, because they have no other leverage. Pavs' stat comparables aren't working in his favour. They don't have a lot to work with. Eventually they'll get something done.
