Can't go wrong with Tom Wilson if he can improve his offensive output. He posted respectable numbers in the PO's, but was medicore at best during the Reg. season.
The good thing about Wilson is that this kid was a beast of a man last year at 17 years old, 6'4" and 200lbs? he can grow an inch and add 15-20lbs and be a physical monster.
Would hope that he can develope an offensive game And shift to LW

This closest to why I too took Pearson. Other things being equal, which they are not, I might gamble on Wilson to grow. But growth physically is not a guarantee of improved scoring ability.
On the other hand, Pearson is not a shrimp at 6'0, might have a 2nd growth spurt to 6'1", 6'2", though I doubt it, and more importantly, he already has great scoring, w/gifted hands + proven shot.
Plus we need scorers AND LWs!!!!
If this guy can be fast tracked - a big IF - maybe he can pull a Kreider and be here for next year's playoffs.
