It's definitely getting up there, but I'm still feeling pretty patient. And I will admit he initially had a tendency to take a lot of outside shots (hit blueline, shoot puck), but I didn't see that happening very much last season.

If he maintains the same kind of offensive production this coming season then I'll argue no more. I like him as a player, so I'm entirely willing to be a little more patient with him (and a 5% shooting percentage is full-on stonehands, which I have trouble believing for anyone but the grindiest of grinders/Scott Gomez).
