Islanders AHL depth is going kaput
Salzburg of Austria confirm they have signed Justin DiBenedetto of the Islanders. DiBenedetto, 23, had 20 goals and 41 points in 55 games with Bridgeport of the AHL last season while under contract to the Islanders. He was a 6th round choice, 175th overall of the Islanders in 2008. He is scheduled to become a RFA on July 1st.

Arthur Staples of Newsday confirms that Mark Katic has signed with Berlin of Germany. Katic, 23, had 4 assists in an injury-shortened 14 game season with Bridgeport of the AHL. He was a 3rd round pick, 62nd overall, of the Islanders in 2007 and is scheduled to become a RFA on July 1st.

Also, per Elite Prospects, Jacob Micflikier has signed with Biel of Switzerland. Micflikier, 27, had 21 goals and 56 points in 57 games with Hershey while under contract to the Washington Capitals. He was never drafted and is scheduled to become an UFA on July 1st.
