I know the game is always changing but There is still only ONE PUCK.

Sure sounds like putting a lot of talent in one room but that doesn't necessarily translate to team success. Of that top 6 in EDM ... who is going to backcheck or will you count on spending the whole shift in the Offensive zone.

Now how this relates to the thread of Justin Schultz ... If he is expecting to be handed a top 4 position based on reputation and not merit I hope he signs in EDM. He will get used to fishing the puck out of his own net there... because their top 6 are all down at the other end of the ice waiting for a pass to pad their stats and feed their egos. All those top picks ...

But if Justin chooses to sign with a winning program and put his ego aside and learn to play the pro game then his play will determine his destiny. In this situation I would like him on the Canucks. He can find good mentors in Edler and Hamhuis and still be a short 4 hour drive from his parents in Kelowna.
