With the way he has to play to stay in the league, he's time to make as much many as he can before he retires is now. So, 500k x3 years is actually 1.5 million. so if he retires at 32 or 33 he will not have any other means to make a living till the day he dies?
i would destroy my body and take that chance for a quarter of what he is asking for and if it is not worth it to him he can take his chances with mcdonalds minimum wage salary.
