Rangers Keep Rolling

New York, NY After starting the season a meager 5-5-0, the Broadway Blueshirts have finally kicked it into high gear. Over their last 11 games the Rangers have compiled a 9-2-0 record to catapult themselves from 10th in the Eastern Conference to 6th. What's even more promising is the Rangers are only 1 point behind division leading Pittsburgh with 4 games in hand.

"We are very comfortable with where we are and how we've been playing lately," Assistant Captain Brad Richards said, "Hanky has been keeping us in the games and our offense has been creating some good chances."

The Rangers have been lead by the duo of Richards and Gaborik, who have each compiled 21 points in 21 games. Ryane Clowe has finally gotten acclimated to his New York surroundings registering 15 points in 21 games.

"We have been playing very well lately." Henrik Lundqvist said, "We just need to continue to work hard and that should translate into more victories."

It's not all roses on Broadway however. Drew Stafford, who was brought in to provide goal scoring for the 3rd line has only registered 8 points in 21 games. Fresh off his new contract, Brandon Dubinsky has only recored 6 points; and rookie standout Chris Kreider has to record a single point in 21 games.

The Rangers look to continue to pick up victories heading into December and rack up as many points as possible before hitting the mid season struggles every team has. But so far after the slow start, and threatened blow up by new GMNYRKY, the Rangers have responded the way a young team should.
