I think there is much doubt. How much injury changes a goalie's perspective on the game varies widely. Reimer's injuries have healed, but the effect on his overall confidence and thus ability to play the position remains to be seen. The mere fact that he ended up in a backup role last season suggests that the mental part of bouncing back is the largest hurdle to overcome.

I like the Reimer/Scrivens plan. This would not be the worst outcome. I would not give up the kitchen cupboard for Luongo. With JVR here, Schenn gone, there is enough change in the line up to wait and evaluate. No need to turn the team upside down because of a perceived weakness in net.
