My thoughts, pretty much. I'd have preferred a shorter contract at this cap hit just in case that potential never materializes, but I don't think 5 years is long enough to really be concerned about.
If he does become the goalie I think he could be it will be a great contract for the team, but we won't know for a few years if that has happened.
