Um, I hate to break it to people, but Staal was damn near a PPG player when Sid was out of the lineup AND he was centering Sully and Dupuis. For the season, he was a .80 PPG player, which translates to 65 points over a 82 game season. Expecting 70 points isn't a stretch. I said 65-75 to be safe. 80 wouldn't surprise me. Then again, we're FINALLY going to see a situation where he'll be facing top shutdown lines and defensive tandems. So, you have to factor that the other way, no?
