Most of the music I listen to is something electronic, but I try to keep an open mind and don't dismiss any genre outright. There are gems everywhere. That said, I have little interest in metal, rock and punk, although one of my all time favourite bands is Tool.
As for the electronic music that I like it's mostly the more eclectic and experimental stuff along with ambient, the different flavours of techno and some early noughties psytrance and progressive. Other genres that I enjoy are hip-hop (although it's mostly 90s stuff and rarely the new stuff), jazz/fusion, psychedelic/progressive/stoner rock.
Artists I appreciate from all the genres I mostly listen to, in no specific order:
Tool, RATM, NIN, Wu-Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, Madlib, J Dilla, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, DeepChord/Echospace, Basic Channel, Monolake, Vladislav Delay, Biosphere, Led Zeppelin, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Kyuss, Future Sound of London...
