Braun and Demers are interesting. Demers is a bit of a better skater, but Braun's skating is very impressive considering his size. Braun has the size, the reach, the better shot, etc. He's more physical as well. But Demers clearly has the hockey sense and softer hands. His hockey sense lets him make those big hits, even though he's not a very physical player in general (like Brian Campbell).

Defensemen like Braun can rely on their physical gifts can carve out careers as bottom-pairing defensemen. Players like Demers, if they realize their potential, can have careers in the top-4...
