In terms of meaning to franchises if Foote and Forsberg had not wound up in different teams.

Sakic and Foote/Forsberg are big ones. The problem is staying with one franchise.

Elias isn't in the first ballot hall of famer category, but he is an all-star level player who has devoted his whole career to one team and a successful one at that.

It is hard to find something that would compete with Yzerman and Lidstrom that is part of why we were so blessed. But I am sure other hockey teams cities have had guys they are in love with.
