Our collective hearts were ripped out that day. Both of our captains were on other teams by 5:00 pm.

Terrible day.

Wanted to post this too.

I can remember almost everything since the lockout. The Bruins signing Chara. The Wings signing Rafalski and Modano. The Hawks signing Hossa. The Rangers signing Richards, Redden, Gomez, Gaborik, and Drury. The Flyers signing Briere and Jagr. The Wild signing Havlat. Koivu and Kovalev both leaving Montreal for Anaheim and Ottawa respectively, then the Habs signed Gill, Moen, Cammalleri, Gionta, etc. and completely changed the look of the team. The Leafs making their yearly signings, like Armstrong, Komisarek, Beauchemin, Orr, Connolly, Finger, etc. The Penguins signing Martin and Michalek.

And, most saddening, the Rangers giving Boogaard that four-year contract.
