If players like him sign for $3mil+ because they play a certain 'role,' then he'll always be a horrible 'role' player because when he need to 'protect' he failed. I lost all respect for him when Miller got run over, he was on the ice and did crap. He should of been traded that week. I pretty much alone blame him for the Sabres missing the playoffs last year. He steps up and fights Lucic, and yes gets his a$$ kicked, the Sabres are not the laughing stocks of the NHL, the team pride/attitude/confidence isn't shattered and they continue to semi roll with miller out. Instead because of no response, every writer has a negative opinion, every Sabre has to answer why no response, our owner has to publicly say the lack of response is unacceptable, etc, etc....Gaustad drops the gloves there, it was his ROLE, and it'd just Lucic being an a$$hole and the Sabres responded like they should of.

Lost season because he's really a *****. So happy there is no chance he is coming back. And yes, thanks for helping get Zegumus!!!!!! (sp?)
