Growing up, did you dream of lacing up in the NHL and for the Habs?

I wanted to be an NHL goalie growing up but the closest I got was the last cut for Midget AAA (Stephane Fiset was the starter) and playing against Felix Potvin (who was a backup with Mercier).
Once I was washed up and playing Collegiate AA at Dawson (we were called the worst team ever in an editorial by Michael Farber), I would watch the Habs practice pretty regularly since they were always after or before us at the Verdun Auditorium.
They would sometimes use junior goalies in practice or in shoot-arounds or pickups after the practice. And I remember that the junior goalies would always look like kids, but they would always try their best. The shooters, like Stephane Richer (yikes), would not take it easy on these guys either.
It was cool coming off the ice when all the Canadiens were lined up in the runway. We were half their size....lol
