if we were to predict the following...

Primeau - miss 70 games.
Gagne - miss 10 games
Forsberg - miss 21 games and counting (expected...)
Kapanen - miss 23 games
Pitkanen - miss 24 games
Johnsson - miss 35 games
Desjardins - miss 35 games
Handzus - miss 9 games

that's 227 games from CRUCIAL personel... not counting all the little injuries here and there that effect the small aspects of the game.
...where do we predict that we would have finished? Hitch has done an absolutely fine job this season given the situation we have been in. at times we've had a roster that would have finished out of the playoffs with EASE and we still have an opportunity to lock down the 3rd seed in the playoffs while being 2nd in the league in rookie scoring. if you don't think that's a good coaching job, you're expectations are completely unrealistic. there are a lot of problem with this team right now... some of it is personel... some of it is the massive amount of youth in the lineup (which will ALWAYS be inconsistent)... but it is NOT the coaches fault.
