i think its time that flyer's fans get the idea of the mythical "hitchcock ball and chain weighing down the players so much" out of their heads.

The NHL is different, but not THAT different. Our team was great in 03-04, and his system worked in dallas. A team can succeed with any NHL calibre "system" in place, in the end the players need to buy into it, and most importantly play well.

Sorry this is on the team as a whole, not hitchcock.
