Nah. Cap wise, the Hawks can fit Parise fine - that's not the issue. It's just that he's not really a need... when it comes to the top-6, it's a center that the Hawks are lacking.

Signing Parise might make it more feasible for the Hawks to move Kane--that's all I was trying to suggest.
I doubt it happens, but I'm sure they could extract either choice of Roy or Adam plus some pretty nice futures from the Sabres. Heck, given the drafting of Grigorenko, they might be able to pry Hodgson out for Kane.
