It would be hilarious if Nash walked into Howson's office and told him I'm not waiving my NTC if Kreider, Stepan, McD or MDZ are in the deal.
I don't need a dose of realism, it's just funny that guys get all amped up to join a team and in the process they nearly cripple the team's structure, be it UFA or trade.
