Filppula would definitely fit into what the Habs are looking for, but that's a huge staple taken out of Detroit, is it not? I guess they could still sign Kostitsyn or Semin to try and off-set the loss though.
Kindl is definitely interesting, but I think he'd be more of a "final piece" rather than a main course.
It is definitely high-risk, all things considered but he's just such an amazing player that you have to decide whether it's worth it or not.
I wouldn't want to trade him from MTL, but with the rebuilding going on, if we could get at least fair market value, it might be the smarter thing to do.
