The defence needs an intimidating presence I think. Intimidating being the key word, someone to push back when a forward is in Price's face. That defence would look a whole lot better with a 6'5 nasty lunatic on the bottom pair.
For all the flak this D core gets for not being intimidating, both Subban and Emelin are good at open ice hits. That's the sort of 'intimidation' and physical presence that makes more of a difference--not the after-the-whistle scrums. Players will be less inclined to be overly creative around the blueline or just inside the blueline for fear of taking their eyes off of an incoming open-ice hit.

For that matter, Bouillon's pretty decent along the wall, too. And he has the quickness to stand opponents up on the blueline and get back into the play.
