I don't think Washington's goaltending is an issue and we're apparently expecting our young guys to pick up the slack for goals.

Winnipeg is a slightly better team, Carolina is better, Tampa is better, and Washington is at least the same. That could mean one more loss from each team, which could mean missing out on the playoffs. Nobody is saying they'll be 100 point teams or even 90+ point teams. Any improvement means a lot with so much parity in the NHL.
