Hoffman is a late bloomer.

Hoffman led his team in scoring, not even close for O'Brien. Hoffman had a better ppg this year in the AHL.

Sure O'Brien is better right now, but that's not the same as upside

i really only see two reasonable answers here - borowiecki and o'brien. Everyone else is a longshot to ever play a full season in the NHL.
I still value upside more... Look at the UFA market right now: littered with bottom 6 players who could be had for cheap. Craig Adams,... Top 6 forwards are much more valuable, bottom 6ers are everywhere
