Are there any teams that would actually do this or is this just a myth that needs to be dispelled?
Montador ($2.75 hit) + Frolik ($2.33 hit) to any of
Anaheim, NYI, STL, CBJ, Florida...etc?
For a 7th rounder or something?
****just looked at teams with most amount of cap space****
For a cap floor team to take on a "cap dump", it has to be more in terms of a player like Rozival situation.
His cap hit last season was $5 million. Actual salary was $3 million. Therefore, the Yotes get $2 million closer to the cap floor without having to spend the actual money.
No point for a cap floor team to pick up a Frolik if his salary is the same as his cap hit. That's no a cap dump for them.
