I've wanted to unload the guy, but one good point made above is he'll be stepping into the top six for spot duty when someone goes down with an injury, which of course will happen at some point. Have serious doubts he can rebound enough to be an every day top six guy, but with all the other moves I'd go into the season with him unless a great deal comes along. On the other hand I'd like to see guys like Matt Fraser get a shot with some top six minutes. Then again just don't see him as an effective bottom six guy, but we'll see. Sure he plays tough, but he's slow and not great defensively. So on the ice if he's not playing with someone who sets him up with goals his usefulness is mitigated. He also absolutely must cut down on the penalties. He was brutal in that regard last season. I'm hoping Eakin and Vincour take the reigns and run with it as the 3rd line C and RW. I'm a big Vincour fan even if he tops out as a third liner.
