If the Flyers can't land Doan or another top winger for G (which seems to be the case) what do you guys think of signing Mike Knuble for a year or two? I know he's no longer a top line guy and he just turned 40 a couple days ago but he could come cheap (~2 mil) and would be solid depth signing IMO kinda along the lines of the Fedotenko signing. He's a solid two way player and would replace some of the size lost up front in the JVR trade/Jagr going to the Stars (Knuble is 6'3" about 230lbs). He had a down season last year but the year before he put up 24 goals. The Flyers had success with Knuble on the pp a couple years ago which really took a hit when he signed in Washington, maybe putting him on the 2nd PP unit rejuvenate his offensive game and if not you still have a big checking winger. I see this as a low risk high reward scenario.
