Thomas to me is NOT a throw in. I think he's going to be a really good player in this league.
Columbus also gets 2 really good roster players and get picks that they can use in what's supposed to be a really good draft.
They don't want it, you move on and see what else is out there.
Weber is awfully tempting, and he's the type of player you give a king's ransom for, but he's not completely necessary. We need a PP triggerman, but we can probably get a specialist on the cheap, instead of trading a lot of assets for Weber. As I've said before, I'd really consider inquiring about Anton Babchuk. His value is low right now, and Calgary has a glut of defensemen on 1 way contracts.
