I provide a less optimistic viewpoint in where I believe Scandella is and ultimately will be and it's construed as
hate...
I can tell you what I do hate from defenseman, though. And that's a complete inability to maintain any sort of gap control and careless decisions with the puck (i.e. panicked, rimming the puck around boards). It should be no wonder that I never cared for Schultz and don't have as high of hopes for Scandella as some. These two aspects are, in my opinion, the most important part of a defenseman's game. The can't struggle in those facets.
