I can only remember one worse debut - the guy who got his call up, took a triple minor, and got injured. Was that Garret Burnett? Somebody worthless like that.
I watched again those games, and I think one of the main reasons is he was on ice with Perry and Getzlaf. Which meant an opposing line was Bolland shutdown line and D pairing of Seabrook and Hjalmarsson. Tough task for someone who never played an NHL game before. On the other hand, he's 24 already.
Hopefully he can make the team coming season, add some size and physicality, and chip in some points while being able to play 10+ minutes.
