If you've ever seen Kingpin or the original Night of the Living Dead and would like to see where they were both filmed, they're both about 20-25 min north of Pittsburgh in the same general area.

Mars has the bowling alley they go to in that movie, and across the street is a beer distributor, and beside it they shoot a few scenes. Plus there's a spaceship in town. Then hop onto Mars Evans City road, and if you venture off a little bit, you'll find the Evans City Cemetary, where NOTLD was filmed.

Hartwood Acres has great free or cheap concerts, often blues festivals, sometimes actual bands you've heard of. I've seen Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Better than Ezra, and Los Lonely Boys there (not a fan of the last one, regret going to that one, in spite of it being free. Didn't know who they were). But those are every Sunday during the summer.

45-55 minutes north is McConnell's mills and Moraine State Park. Both beautiful. The first one you can jump off big rocks into the river. The second one has everything from disc golf to biking to swimming.

Just trying to throw out a few ideas no one mentioned. And oh yeah, on a Tuesday go to Quaker Steak, all you can eat wings. It's been on Man vs. Food as well.
