It's also not uncommon in the south to name boys Ashley ... and while it used to be pretty much exclusively a boys name, these days it's more commonly a girls name. Makes it weird when you're expecting a XX and get XY instead Androgynous names kinda bug me ... Pat, Jordan, Skyler, Morgan, Ashley, Dakota ... I don't have to deal with it so much now, but when my son was a kid it seemed that half of his classmates had names like that
