He's not going back to Winnipeg. Doan said prior to last season, that if the Coyotes moved to Winnipeg, he would rather retire than play there. He took a lot of undeserved criticism from Canadian fans for it. There is zero chance that he signs there, especially on a long-term deal that would mean he would have to move his wife and kids (who are all from Arizona) from one of the most comfortable places to live in North America to one of the least comfortable.
